I grew up in Northern Iowa. I have three brothers and three sisters. My home town had dirt track stock car races, county fairs, and home coming parades. After high school I joined the US Army - 82nd Airborne Division at Ft Bragg, NC. I was in the 2/508th Airborne Infantry. I missed Viet Nam...went in 1976 and came out in 1979. I was very fortunate to make the Viet Nam era G.I. Bill cut off. I was able to attend Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. I obtained a B.S. in Political Science.
I got married after college and moved to Atlanta in 1989. I worked for the FDIC - Division of Liquidation - ORE Assets. I later worked for Sprint Site Development - Project Manager doing real estate and building cell tower sites. I currently work for KW Commercial Real Estate in Cumming. I do site acquistions, dispositions, investment sales and leasing.
My wife and I have three children who all attended Forsyth County public schools. I have been a ice hockey dad, a soccer coach, we were in cub scouts, been to many years of dance recitals, school programs, performing arts and many other school events.
We have lived in this district of Forsyth County/Alpharetta for 24 years. I work out at LA Fitness - Johns Creek where I have a consistent exercise program.
I am a memeber of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce, The Sierra Club, Atlanta Council of International Relations, Atlanta Commerical Board of Realtors, The Georgia Chapter of Arizona State University Alumni, 82nd Airborne Division Association - Life Memeber, and the Atlanta All Airborne Chapter.
